Setting up your camera in the right location at your event is paramount to the success of using Fantag.
We’ve found that for most one-camera shoots, setting up at an elevated location (if possible) at center court or mid-field is ideal. For a baseball or softball one-camera shoot, setting up to the left or right of home plate or over the center field wall yields the best result.
For multi-camera shoots see the list of major sports below with suggestions on camera placement:
Camera 1 -- Elevated at 50 yard line
Camera 2 -- field level in the corner of your team’s end zone or at goal line
Camera 3 -- Elevated at the goal line
Camera 4 -- Field level following the line of scrimmage
Camera 1 -- elevated at center court
Camera 2 -- Court level off to the side of your team’s basket
Camera 3 -- Court level at the corner opposite of your team’s basket
Camera 4 -- Elevated at center court, zoomed in and following the player with the ball
Camera 1 -- Elevated to the right or left of home plate
Camera 2 -- Field level, in foul territory or out of play beyond first base
Camera 3 -- Field Level, in foul territory or out of play beyond third base
