Setting up your camera in the right location at your event is paramount to the success of using Fantag. 


We’ve found that for most one-camera shoots, setting up at an elevated location (if possible) at center court or mid-field is ideal. For a baseball or softball one-camera shoot, setting up to the left or right of home plate or over the center field wall yields the best result. 


For multi-camera shoots see the list of major sports below with suggestions on camera placement:

FOOTBALL

Camera 1 -- Elevated at 50 yard line

Camera 2 -- field level in the corner of your team’s end zone or at goal line

Camera 3 -- Elevated at the goal line

Camera 4 -- Field level following the line of scrimmage


BASKETBALL

Camera 1 -- elevated at center court

Camera 2 -- Court level off to the side of your team’s basket

Camera 3 -- Court level at the corner opposite of your team’s basket

Camera 4 -- Elevated at center court, zoomed in and following the player with the ball


BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

Camera 1 -- Elevated to the right or left of home plate

Camera 2 -- Field level, in foul territory or out of play beyond first base

Camera 3 -- Field Level, in foul territory or out of play beyond third base

Camera 4 -- Beyond the outfield wall, following the action of the ball.


SOCCER

Camera 1 -- Elevated at mid-field

Camera 2 --  Field level in the corner of the field on the side in which your team is shooting

Camera 3 -- Elevated (if possible) behind the goal or off to the side of the goal in which your team is shooting

Camera 4 -- Elevated at mid field, zoomed in following the player with the ball
