Welcome back! Time to learn about creating a highlight reel. You’ve finished your event and captured a handful of highlights. With the Fantag Manager you can put together a highlight reel in just a few minutes, saving you hours of time scrubbing through the entire video for the highlights. Highlight reels are great for packaging a few of the best moments to share, creating a recruiting video to send to college coaches, or an end of the year banquet video, to name a few.
First, click on a past event. This will take you to your event recap page, with the full video of your event and all the highlights captured either by you or your team fantagger. Click the Highlight Reel button below the full video player.
A page opens that has all of your highlights that were tagged by the team fantagger. First, name your highlight reel. Feel free to get as creative as you want with this name. It could be something to excite the viewer like, epic dunks, or something more personal like, Jimmy’s goals.
Now you can select the highlights you want to include in your highlight reel. If your team fantagger did their job, the highlights will be nicely labeled making this selection process much easier.
You must select at least two highlights and your entire reel must be no more than three minutes in length. You can keep track of this at the bottom of the page, where it says, Duration. Once you have selected all the highlights you want in your reel, go ahead and select some music to play along with your highlights. You can preview the selected song by clicking preview. Once you’re all set there, click create.
You will be taken back to the event recap page where, if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, you will see your highlight reel generating. Depending on how long you made the reel, it may take a few minutes for Fantag Manager to generate your MP4.
Once your reel is ready, you will be able to view, download, and share your highlight reel to facebook or twitter.
